Randall C. Brown (Loser)

Randall C. Brown (SAG-AFTRA) is an actor from the small town of Brookline, New Hampshire. At an early age, he discovered acting as an expressive outlet, allowing him to explore elements of his personality. He gives credit to acting for his growth as an artistic being. During college, he starred in the theatrical productions Kindertransport, The Shape of Things, and Love's Labour's Lost. After honing his theatrical acumen, Randall chose to pursue a film and television career in Los Angeles. 

Upon moving to Los Angeles, Randall started training with RJ and Rob Adams at the Actor's Workshop. In addition to starring in a number of short films, he is known for his roles in General Hospital, and the thriller Bad Reception. 

As a self-proclaimed “physics nerd,” Randall is fascinated with the natural laws that govern our universe. This curiosity is carried into every aspect of his life. He employs his love of science in his acting career by constantly asking and answering new questions about himself and his characters. 

Randall looks forward to pursing his dream of acting in the great city of Los Angeles, supporting himself solely through his creative pursuits.

Julia Farino (Voice)

Julia Farino is a British actress and singer who now lives in Los Angeles following over 20 years of performing in the UK in television, film, West End theatre and on UK tours. She has worked with stars as diverse as Sir John Gielgud and Sir Elton John, Robbie Williams, James Wilby, Gina Rodriguez, Ioan Gruffudd, Fred Willard and Brian Cox OBE, to name but a few. As a vocalist, from rock and pop vocals to resident jazz singer at The Dorchester Hotel, London, Julia has covered it all, even reaching No 2 in Tower Records in Japan singing, Ooh Gary Gary, a song about the England striker, Gary  Lineker, on an album of football songs! 

Julia's film credits include Oscar Wilde's, Lady Windermere's Fan, Kiss Kiss, Synapse, Icarus, If Tomorrow, Locked Out, We Detected That Your Footage May Be Shaky and Jeanine. Julia's television credits include Jane The Virgin (The CW), My Haunted House (Lifetime TV), Days of our Lives (NBC), Age of the Living Dead (Red Rock), Murder Book (Discovery), Crocodile Shoes with Jimmy Nail (BBC) and In Suspicious Circumstances with Edward Woodward OBE (Granada Television). And for all those sci-fi and comic-con fans, Julia appears in the video, I was a Doctor Who Monster! (Reeltime Pictures) with Sylvester McCoy who played the seventh Doctor in the BBC franchise.

Rebecca Pares (Winner)

This was the first exposure into film and the filmmaking industry for Rebecca. Residing in England, she enjoys time with her family and playing with her nieces and nephews. Visiting Hollywood and California was a great experience.

Dawn Cobalt (Director, Producer, Story)

Independent film director Dawn Cobalt was born on December 6, 1967 in Hawthorne, California. Raised in the suburban landscape of Los Angeles, she began her education in the fine arts and made a natural progression into film. After graduating from The New York Film Academy, Dawn founded the production company FutureView Entertainment. Her entrepreneurial spirit and knack for storytelling had her winning awards in categories such as best director, editor and special jury prize. Dawn’s unique perspective and styling has made her the auteur of her films since the beginning of her multi-creative career now spanning over two decades. Her films have been seen all over the world, and her stories strike at the very chord of the human spirit. They are emotional, inspiring, comical and always directed with a compelling message of truth and humanity. 

Winner of 8 awards, 7 nominations, and screened worldwide, Out Smart (2013) is a story of a boy coming out to his parents as smart. Viewed by over 50 PFLAG chapters, various church groups, and both public and private schools, Out Smart has helped ignite conversations for those that want to come out as part of the LGBT community. Featured on the Advocate.com and Huffingtonpost.com, Out Smart is courageously humorous in taking on such a deeply serious subject as homophobia and turning it on its head. Out Smart has not only been a beacon of inspiration and hope for young LGBT people all over the world, but also has made people laugh and think about how society views individuality and freedom of expression.

Winner of the California Film Award for Best Director, SWALK (2013) has been proclaimed as an audience favorite throughout the 2014 festival circuit. This powerful short film controlled audience emotion in such a powerful way and in such short amount of time, (running time 4:53) that the visual portrait of love between the two characters was so deeply felt, the audience could not control their
tears. The love comes through the screen. “One of the joys of filmmaking for me,” Dawn exclaims, “is the collaboration when working with actors, both seasoned professionals and new talent. Being an actor’s director is a role that I take seriously, letting them shine is my intention.” One of Dawn’s favorite filmmaking moments came when she worked onset with the great talent Mickey Rooney. “He spoke of old time filmmaking and what it was like being onset during those days.” she said, “When Mr. Rooney was acting, it was like watching a consummate professional: on point, precise, a real class act. It is that type of performance that I want to bring out in the actors that I direct.”

Marie Cobalt (Executive Producer)

Executive Producer Marie Cobalt is co-founder of FutureView Entertainment. She has collaborated with actors, musicians and civil rights activists to deliver extraordinary and inspired successes with their projects in film, music, fundraising, politics and more. She is responsible for the brand management of FutureView Entertainment and plays a major part in selecting the company’s projects,
searching for endeavors that fit the company’s unique creativity and integrity.

Jeff Linnartz (Producer)

Before becoming a filmmaker, Jeff was an actor in Texas appearing in commercials, television and  films. His work in indies inspired him to develop his own creative vision and start making his own films. 

Ever since Jeff was a kid he says he’s always wanted to bring out the best in everyone around him.  He taught every other kid on his block to ride a two-wheeled bike — even the girls (or maybe especially the girls). He brings that same infectious enthusiasm and honed professionalism to his work: “All I want to do is make movies with my friends.”

Andrew Bryan Smith (Writer, Producer)

Andy has marketed, sold, or advocated for education, beauty magazines and their digital properties, public tech and telecom, adult education and online businesses large and small, including products as diverse as colored contact lenses, megaphones and used police cars. He has won several awards for screenwriting.

Born and raised in Mexico, now a full time actor/filmmaker in Los Angeles, Andy Casillas, an LA Film School graduate, debuted his career in the Art Department alongside legendary actor Danny Glover as prop mater on a thriller feature, six years ago. Since then, he's gone on to work for several great directors and brands such as Johnny Walker, NESCAFE, Chevy, Cornetto, AT&T, and more.

Cambria Hankin (Casting Director)

Cambria Hankin began a career in casting for commercials eight years ago when she interned with Lisa Pantone. She then expanded her casting abilities to theatrical projects, infomercials and web series. Cambria has worked on award-winning films including as Reconciliation directed by Chad Ahrendt, La Niña del Desierto and The Silver Lincoln directed by Malachi Rempen, and Doppelganger
directed by Katharine O’Brien. Cambria currently is casting a feature film with actor Danny Trejo. She has also recently cast a short film for WeCareAboutKids.org and enjoys rescuing shelter and homeless dogs.

Mark Alan Dashnaw (Editor)

Mark is an Emmy®-nominated editor (Hot in Cleveland, multi-camera comedy) who has worked in almost every genre of visual storytelling since earning his Film Editing MFA from AFI. He feels lucky to work on both comedic and dramatic projects including feature films, scripted and reality television series, documentaries, and shorts. The scope of his work ranges from major studio and networkbacked projects to independent artists working with him out of his home, and occasionally falling asleep on his couch. And eating his food. You know who you are, just saying. 


Mark is currently working on Charlotte’s Shorts, a variety show pilot based on the writings of Charlotte Dean directed by Tracy Newman. Other projects include Blood Sand and Gold, an action/adventure feature film by director Gaelan Connell to be released in 2017. Game Shakers and Henry Danger, two comedy series for Nickelodeon. 


Mark is also an award-winning filmmaker (Myopia, dramatic short) who produces, directs and yes, edits, his own film projects under Mad Dash Productions. About a lifetime ago, Mark was also an actor in Chicago with a few stage credits to his name. And a lifetime before that, he earned his B.A. in Theatre from Cornell University.

Jaison Duell Wilson (Special Effects)

Jaison Duell Wilson has worked as color stylist/compositor for Walt Disney Feature Animation on such projects as Lilo and Stitch, Brother Bear and The Princess and the Frog. As a motion graphics artist, Jaison has created opening titles for television and visual effects for the film and music industry. He’s been a Flash designer for an online magazine and won multiple awards for his editorial photo illustrations. While serving as an art director on several marketing campaigns in print, Jaison has directed photo shoots, lighting setups and creative development.

Peter Swartz – Color Space Finishing (Colorist)

Peter has been working in the Post Production industry for twenty years. After graduating top-in-hisclass at a local Hollywood Audio/Video engineering school, Peter began work at one of the premiere Hollywood Commercial post houses where his standards were set high. He began in audio for his first few years then realized that his passion for Hi-End home audio could suffer due to excessive sonic exposure. Peter asked to cross-the-aisle and in 1996 began his new career in telecine and digital color correction. He started by assisting and learning from some of the top commercial colorists in the industry and soon began coloring commercial dailies and feature dailies. Peter has since colored many features and many types of projects over the years. 


In 2011, Peter committed to fulfill one of his dreams to develop his own post services company, Color Space Finishing. Utilizing some of the best tools and building a team of seasoned artists, to enable excellent quality and service.

Don Corrieri - Phuturetrax (Audio Post Production)

Baltimore native Don Corrieri is a versatile audio professional. In addition to his numerous music credits, he has been involved in post production since 2002 when he began producing and mixing commercial spots. With over 1000 radio and TV ads under his belt, Don branched out into film. He's worked in every aspect of film sound including: dialog editing and noise reduction, ADR, Foley, sound
design, music editing and full mixing.
